Facebook just announce an update the iOS app, taking it to version 5.1 ahead of Twitter’s update.
What you will get extra in the free app is:
- SWIPE LEFT anywhere in the app to quickly see who is available to chat to and send them a message,
- ADD FRIENDS that you chat to the most to the top of your favourites,
- SHARE multiple photos,
- GIVE GIFTS to friends – this is only available to the United States,
- See who is ACTIVE when sending messages.
